【1. The Smokehouse Hotel & Restaurant】
I visited for afternoon tea. The atmosphere is simply amazing, making you feel like you've come to visit a countryside manor in England. I hope to stay here someday!
The salmon sandwich had thick slices of salmon, and the cream cheese inside was delicious. The fruitcake, possibly made with brown sugar, had a deep, rich sweetness and was moist even without alcohol, which I really liked.
The scones didn’t have much buttery aroma and honestly felt a bit lacking, but when eaten with the butter provided, they were just right. The tea served is Cameron Highlands tea in a pot.
While the quality of the afternoon tea itself isn’t outstanding, the price is reasonable, the taste is good, and it’s a perfect place to enjoy the special feeling of being in Cameron Highlands. Definitely give it a try ☕️

【2. Jim Thompson Tea Room】
A wonderful afternoon tea that makes you feel elegant! Compared to KL, the price is cheaper, and I think it’s a great deal to enjoy this atmosphere at this price. There’s an old piano man, so you can also enjoy live music.
The sweets are mostly simple but all tasted good. The tea sandwiches came in three varieties: chicken, salmon, and cucumber.
Among the scones I had in Cameron Highlands, these were the best. They came with proper clotted cream, and the scones themselves had a strong buttery flavor.
Considering the price, it’s definitely worth trying.
