About 30 minutes by train or bus from Nice—up the road lined with beaches and palm trees, you'll see a sign with the word "CANNES" written in large white letters on a hillside. This is the Cannes Sign, and the city's name shimmered like an actor on stage. Each letter was illuminated, blending in with the surrounding scenery, and in that moment, it felt like a page in my travel journal had been completed.

🌄 A View of the Côte d'Azur from the Hill
The sign was located at the top of a hill, near the Le Suquet district of the old town. The view from here was absolutely stunning. Behind the letters, the azure Mediterranean stretched to the horizon, and below, the city's red-tiled roofs stretched out in layers. The sunlight reflected off the sea, creating a silvery line, and I paused for a long time in front of the writing, savoring the harmonious scenery.

1️⃣ How to get there – Go up to the upper part of the Le Suquet district in the Old Town, and you'll see the sign. Accessible by elevator (Funcula), bus, or on foot, it's about a 10-minute walk.
2️⃣ Best time to take photos – Before 9 a.m. or just after sunset, the time is the most relaxed and offers beautiful lighting. There are fewer tourists, making for great photo opportunities.
