Kirstenbosch National Botanic Garden
South Africa is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world, not only famous for its wildlife but also a magical world of plants.
In South Africa, the renowned Cape Floral Region covers only about 0.5% of Africa's area but contains nearly 20% of the continent's plant species. Located on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch National Botanic Garden is known as "Africa's most beautiful garden." Thousands of plant species compete in splendor here, where visitors can learn about rich flora and fauna and see South Africa's national flower, the King Protea. The garden also features a popular 130-meter-high canopy walkway, offering stunning views of the garden and surrounding mountains, filling visitors with joy.
