Cat Ba Island is the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. I spent a few summer days there kayaking through Lan Ha Bay, exploring hidden beaches, and trekking in Cat Ba National Park. The island is less crowded than Halong but just as scenic. I loved swimming at Cat Co 2 Beach at sunset. The town has a laid-back charm, with fresh seafood and cool breezes in the evenings—ideal for slow, summer exploration.
