Swim with whale sharks in Oslob, Cebu 🌊

When I went, there were so many tour groups that the wait was really long.
Because there were so many groups, the numbers got mixed up...
After a long wait, I finally got on a boat and saw the whale sharks!!

But ㅜㅜ the sea was so, so, so salty. The smell of salted shrimp was overwhelming. I think the saltiness of the sea was due to the food they feed the whale sharks. The water was saltier than normal seawater.

During the training, we were told to stay within 5 meters (especially 6 meters near the tail) for the whale sharks' protection and our safety. However, the boat itself was so close to the whale sharks that it felt like the boats were surrounding them... I felt a little sorry for the whale sharks. ..

Still, I was happy to actually see a whale shark, but...

it wasn't a very pleasant experience... 😢
