Ep 2 | Basilica Minore del Santo de Cebu 💒

#2023travelwish #cebu #philippines

Our very first domestic trip after pandemic was in the Queen City of South, Cebu and it was so memorable as we got to see this beautiful church again.

Per our history books, this church was built in the 16th century and is considered the oldest church in the Philippines 🇵🇭

The amazing thing is that, despite our distinct religious beliefs, many tourists still come to witness Sto.Niño’s (infant Jesus) image and offer praise and worship. So nice that many people around the world, include this place in their list.

TRIVIA: Photos were taken during the day vs at night for comparison.

Best Time: Visit during office hours on weekdays (8am to 5pm) as locals are working.

Peak hours: 5pm onwards on weekdays and whole day on weekends ⏰

In 2023, I dream to visit more churches, temples or any other worship places in Asia. 🙏
