
Yuzhou Forest Botanical Garden is located in the central Yingbei District of Yuzhou City, 2 kilometers from the city center. With a planned investment of 850 million yuan, the garden will be developed in two phases over a five-year construction period. The garden features over a thousand tree species and varieties from both China and abroad, with a focus on the wild beauty of the mountains and forests. With a forest coverage rate of 89.9%, the garden boasts over 1,200 plant species from both China and abroad, including 116 rare species. The garden is divided into nine scenic areas, three landscape zones, and 107 scenic spots. These nine areas are: the Main Area, the Introduction Forest Area, the Evergreen Forest Area, the Colorful Leaf Forest Area, the Fruit Forest Area, the Medicinal Garden Area, the Flower Forest Area, the Sightseeing Nursery Area, and the Garden Conference Center.
The three scenic belts are: Dreaming of Willows in the Stream, Fragrant Flowers in the Stream, and Paths of Jade Stream. In spring, you can walk on fragrant grass and smell the fragrance of flowers; in summer, you can rest in the shade and listen to the gurgling water; in autumn, you can admire the crimson leaves and the intoxicating beauty of the maple forest; in winter, you can appreciate the plum blossoms and watch the snowflakes dance. Each season offers its own unique charm. It combines the gardens of Jiangnan with the scenery of northern China; the style of the Central Plains with the characteristics of Yuzhou; it combines natural landscapes with cultural attractions; it combines the charm of the ancient with the atmosphere of the modern.
