The Largest Mosque in India - JAMA MASJID 🇮🇳

Jama Masjid is located at central street Old Delhi. It is one of the most famous and spectacular mosques in India and in the world. It is made of red stone and white marble that can accommodate up to 25,000 people.

Getting There - Jama Masjid's neaeesf metro station is Chawri Bazar on the Yellow Line. You can also get their by taxi or uber. Close by attraction is the Red Fort so you can do the two attractions in one day.

Food & Restaurants - There are many restaurants outside Jama Masjid so it is very conveniet to grab some bite after or before your visit.

Shopping: Nearby shopping area is Chandni Chowk.

Entrance Fee: Free.

‼️Tips
1. Jama Masjid is located in a very crowded area so traffic will be really bad , we had to really push our way forward amongst all the cars and tricycles. It was really tight. So better to take the subway.
2. Visit in the morning to avoid long qeues and large crowd.
3. Carry a bag that can fit your shoes so you can just carry your shoes along in the mosque. There are shoe counters outside but because there are too many people then it might take you a while to?find your shoes.
4. No shorts or short skirts. I was wearing a skirt which long enough (below the knee) but they still gave us some cloths to cover ourselves.
