Indonesian Soul Food

During my visit to Jakarta early this year, my friend brought me to Remboelan. They have several branches in Jakarta and i went to the one in Grand Indonesia. It is said to be one of the most famous restaurant in Jakarta! We had to wait for around 10 minutes as the restaurant was full. The staff was friendly and helpful in helping us getting our table.

We ordered their signature ayam penyet, sate ayam, nasi goreng and crispy prawn crackers.
The prawn crackers are so huge and the three of us could not finished it. The sate is delicious and sweet, which tasted different compared to sate in Malaysia. Their nasi goreng and ayam penyet are flavourful.
