Mrigadayavan Palace is located in Phetchaburi Province. It is a beautiful golden teak palace built during the reign of King Rama VI. Its architecture is a mix of Thai and European styles. The building is located by the sea, with a peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by trees and flower gardens. It is a popular place for those who want to visit history and relax amidst nature.
The highlight of the palace is the design that emphasizes ventilation and natural light to circulate in every building. The layout of the buildings is connected by wooden walkways, allowing you to walk and enjoy the sea view along the way. There are also rooms that were once used as the residence of King Rama VI, such as the Samakkhi Mukhamat Hall.
We can walk around and learn about history from the exhibitions inside. Visiting Mrigadayavan Palace will give you a glimpse into the lifestyle and design that reflects the delicacy of art at that time.
