[Thailand] Pink Ganesha

Wat Saman Rattanaram, famous for its gigantic pink Ganesha statue measuring 16 meters wide and 24 meters high, is a temple located in Chachoengsao Province, about an hour and a half's drive from Bangkok.

There are a total of 14 rats surrounding the Ganesha statue.

In addition to eight rats in each direction, there are two rats in front of the Ganesha statue, each with special eyes and ears (they can see and hear things that are normally invisible and deaf).

Also, there's Lucy the rat (Lucy means sage, ascetic, or philosopher in Thai) behind the Ganesha statue, and three more at the incense holder.

The two rat statues, which are said to bring good fortune, are especially popular.

🕰️Opening Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

🏖️Facilities: One thing to note: There is no toilet paper in the restrooms, so be sure to bring some tissues with you! 💦🧻
