Tracing the World Heritage of Southern Laos | Wat Phou Temple

Wat Phou Temple is one of the most significant historical and cultural tourist attractions in Laos. It has been registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and is considered one of the oldest Khmer (Cambodian) civilization monuments in Southeast Asia.

The temple is structured in tiers ascending along the hillside, with a pathway lined with stone pillars leading to the main sanctuary at the summit. Upon reaching the top, visitors are rewarded with a stunning panoramic view.
