Hunan First Normal University is a hidden gem! I almost missed this check-in spot.

Hunan First Normal University, where Chairman Mao studied and worked for eight years, has a strong sense of the times. The retro campus has an elegant environment, and the greenery is quiet and ancient. It is one of the most distinctive university campuses I have ever visited, and it is definitely worth a visit!

Now, the main campus is home to more than 2,000 freshmen and elementary school students (the affiliated elementary school is located on the campus). It is said that the school's top major is elementary education. It is also open to the public as a tourist attraction, and you can make a reservation to visit.

It is known as the "Millennium Academy, Century Normal University." The Chengnan Academy campus is located on the banks of the Xiangjiang River, under Miaogao Peak, with a deep historical heritage. I also followed in the footsteps of my predecessors to experience the rich cultural atmosphere here. I happened to encounter the filming of the movie "The Young Mao Zedong" here. The warm light seemed to open a wonderful door for me. Walking through it, I felt like I was traveling through time. I seemed to see the bits and pieces that happened here. It was so high-spirited and full of youthful energy. It was truly inspiring.
