Changsha! Third time staying here! I really love this affordable hotel

✅Soundproofing/Hygiene:
The overall soundproofing is excellent, creating a quiet resting environment for guests. Hygiene standards are outstanding, with both rooms and public areas kept spotlessly clean. Attention to detail ensures a comfortable stay.

🏘️Room Type/Layout:
This time, I stayed in the top-floor Fantasy Suite, which is spacious with a living area featuring an L-shaped sofa and a bar counter, continuing W Hotel's signature nightclub-inspired design full of youthful energy. The vanity and wardrobe area connect to the bathroom, offering a practical and convenient layout. The public areas are stylish, with the 6th-floor lobby providing an open view of the garden and the iconic W logo—especially atmospheric at night. The pool also embraces the nightclub theme, creating a unique ambiance. While the base room type (Wonderful King Room) is slightly compact, the design remains striking. The Fashion Room, around 40 sqm, features a freestanding circular bathtub in the center near the entrance, separated from the door by opaque glass walls. The dark-toned decor incorporates space station elements, delivering a distinctive sci-fi vibe.

🛌Amenities/Facilities:
The bathrobes are exceptionally soft and comfortable—I absolutely loved them. The reversible octopus plush toy gifted during turndown service adds a playful touch. The room is well-equipped for daily needs, and the customizable keycard service adds a personal touch. The public facilities are unique: the 1st-floor bar features a resident DJ every night with trendy decor, while the lobby lounge is perfect for afternoon tea with a view of the lush garden outside.

💗Other Tips:
The hotel offers thoughtful service. As a Platinum member, I received a room upgrade. From the moment I arrived, staff handled my luggage and escorted me to my room, assisting throughout check-in. Advance communication secured personalized keycards and a cute astronaut plush toy as welcome gifts, along with a complimentary Changsha-style milk tea—a heartfelt touch.

Location-wise, the hotel is at Yunda Plaza on Changsha Avenue, adjacent to The St. Regis Changsha. While it's over a 30-minute drive to IFS, the nearby Line 2 subway station makes commuting easy. The attached Yunda Hui mall offers convenient dining and shopping options.

The breakfast spread is diverse, featuring standout dishes like chili-fried meat eggs Benedict and fresh juices, with ice cream being a crowd-pleaser. The pool is rarely crowded, offering a private experience. The 1st floor has iconic photo spots, and many public areas are Instagram-worthy. If possible, pair your stay with The St. Regis next door to experience contrasting styles.
