Don’t want to be packed with crowds at tourist spots during National Day? I accidentally discovered Xueqing Jishan City Qinglan Resort Homestay, and it instantly boosted my holiday happiness! Just a 0.5-hour self-drive from downtown, you leave the noise behind. The closer you get to the homestay, the more you can feel the fresh air of the lakeside park, making every breath lighter and fresher～🌿​
I was amazed as soon as I arrived at the homestay entrance! Dense trees surround the entire homestay island, with an antique style wrapped in rich Hunan cultural vibes. The National Day atmosphere is fully charged, and every casual photo feels like a cinematic shot📸. When checking in, the housekeeper handed me warm rose mulberry tea and thoughtfully introduced the homestay’s activity routes—attention to detail at its best!​
The lake view room we stayed in was absolutely perfect! Opening the balcony door, you see endless green lakeside and woods. The room’s decor is cozy, with wooden furniture exuding a natural vibe. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and falling asleep to the sound of insects at night was the best sleep I’ve had in a long time😴.​
Daytime activities are super rich too! You can hike inside the park and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature; if you prefer quiet, just sit in the homestay’s courtyard to drink tea and read, with sunlight filtering through the leaves—so relaxing you won’t want to leave☀️. In the evening, the homestay hosts concerts where you can listen to music and chat with friends from all over the world—lively and warm, this is exactly how National Day should be!​
Speaking of food, I have to praise the homestay’s private dishes! All ingredients are freshly sourced locally. The stewed native chicken is fragrant and flavorful, the stir-fried seasonal vegetables are crisp and refreshing, and the handmade tofu is full of hometown taste～After dinner, a bowl of sweet fermented rice balls warms your heart!🍲​
During these National Day days at Qinglan Homestay, there were no crowded crowds, only the peaceful lakeside, attentive service, and healing slow life. If I want to escape the city next time, this will definitely be my first choice!
