In the west corridor of Gongcha Courtyard, the first thing you can see is "Celebrity Stories". These stories bear witness to the development and prosperity of Zisun tea. The West Corridor also preserves many "cliff carvings", which explain to us the former glory of "Zisun Gongcha"
➡️Kichijoji
Kichijoji Temple marks the integration of "tribute tea" and "Buddha tea". At the same time, it also showed people the theory of "Tea and Zen are one". The newly built Jixiang Temple is divided into two floors. The first floor mainly introduces the history of the rise and fall of the Gongchayuan, the scenes of the palace tea banquets, and a full display of the Gongchayuan's heyday. The second level focuses on the theory of "Tea and Zen are one", as well as the life of Manjusri Bodhisattva and the stories of eminent monks throughout the ages who realized Zen through drinking tea.
