Just got back from Longemont! This itinerary is perfect for a weekend getaway!

Girls! If you want to pick a place to visit around Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai for a two-day weekend, Huzhou Longemont is definitely worth it! In two days, you can explore the Animal World, Taihu Ancient Town, Circus City, and Ice and Snow World. The cost-performance ratio is really high!

🏨 Hotel: Happy World Hotel (the centerpiece of the park, very close to every attraction)
📍【Itinerary】
Day 1
After arriving at the hotel around 3 PM and dropping off your luggage, you can head to Taihu Ancient Town. There are small electric carts right outside the hotel, or you can take the shuttle bus. When we arrived around 4 PM, we caught the "Drunken Beauty of Taihu" performance. The stage design was quite thoughtful! The ancient town looks even better after dark, especially the Iron Flower Show and fireworks show at night, which are very impressive and definitely worth watching.
Day 2
On the second day, head to 🐯 Animal World! The park has both a driving zone and a walking zone. In the walking zone, you can feed giraffes, African elephants, kangaroos, and more up close. If you get tired, you can take the small train for only 20 yuan! But avoid queuing for the train on holidays, ❌ as the lines are reportedly very long! For the driving zone, you need to drive yourself; if you have a car, you can drive right in!
🎪 The big circus is a must-see! Usually, hotel bookings include tickets to the circus. If money is no object, you can pay extra for VIP seats! The aerial acrobatics are truly stunning! We watched the 2 PM show, which ended at 3:30 PM!

Overall, two days is just enough to enjoy everything, but the food was a bit disappointing. We ate KFC and Pizza Hut these two days and didn’t get to try the more distinctive local cuisine of Huzhou.
