Jinli is a pedestrian-only street that has been restored and recreated to resemble a Ming and Qing dynasty streetscape, and is bustling with visitors. Restaurants, snack bars, souvenir shops, and more line both sides of the street, with bars opening at night.
There's also a shop where you can watch the traditional Sichuan art of "face-changing." Face-changing isn't just a funny face, but a performance in which the performer instantly changes the face mask, making it impossible to understand what's going on even when watching closely. Enjoy a cup of tea and some sunflower seeds while watching.
