Performance Address: Chengdu Culture Park, No. 23, Qintai Road, Qingyang District, Chengdu (near Qingyang Palace); after collecting your tickets, enter the park opposite, turn right, and walk 20 meters to arrive at the venue.
Performance Time: Usually one show daily, starting at 20:00. During peak season, there are two shows: the first starts at 18:00, and the second starts at 20:00. Each show lasts 90 mins.
Performance Content: Sichuan Opera specialties, including face-changing, fire-spitting, lamp-balancing, shadow puppetry, marionette shows, famous Sichuan Opera excerpts, puppet shows, short plays, acrobatics, Qingyin (a traditional Chinese vocal art), Huqin (a family of bowed string instruments) solo, opera dance, and more.
Ticket Collection: Within one hour before the show starts, go to the self-service ticket machine at No. 136 Qintai Road, Qingyang District, Chengdu, Zhonghua Liyuan, enter the information you provided when booking, and collect your tickets to enter the park. Alternatively, you can collect your tickets at the ticket office by providing the name of the person who booked the tickets.
Highly recommend buying VIP tickets! They are worth it!!! You can choose between a massage and ear cleaning, and you can also redeem souvenirs such as keychains and bookmarks. The performance is very unique and worth seeing.
