Angsana Chengdu Wenjiang

Chengdu Wenjiang Angsana Hotel is located in Wenjiang District, about 45 kilometers from the city center. The Angsana brand inherits the resort DNA of Banyan Tree Group, with "Sense The Moment" as its core philosophy, awakening everyone's attention and respect for every moment in life. As the first Angsana property in Chengdu, it focuses on vibrant and immersive urban micro-vacation experiences. The guest rooms incorporate elements of Western Sichuan's "courtyard fences" to create private spaces where you can enjoy tea, listen to the wind, and admire flowers at your fingertips. It's also a family-friendly and pet-friendly hotel. This time, I booked a Courtyard King Room for one night through Ctrip, and as a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I received a complimentary upgrade to a Courtyard Family King Room.
I was drawn to the hotel's architectural design.
While on vacation, I could fully appreciate the hotel's design philosophy. The exterior features a warm Chinese-style color palette that I really love.
The sloping roofs, gray tiles, earthen walls, and bamboo weaving elements bring the Western Sichuan "courtyard fence" concept to its fullest expression. The extensive surrounding vegetation adds vitality to the architecture.
The facilities are quite comprehensive: outdoor sports park - Vpark pump track experience, greenway cycling, Hanfu dress-up experience, outdoor sports park, tennis courts, petting zoo, camping experience, children's playground... There's plenty to keep kids entertained without even leaving the hotel during the holiday.
Additionally, it's just across the street from Chenjia Weigan, known as the "Number One Ancestral Hall in Western Sichuan."
Chenjia Weigan is a courtyard-style architectural complex combining residential, ancestral, garden, and academy functions. It's currently the largest and best-preserved private residence from the Qing Dynasty on the Western Sichuan Plain, with profound historical significance. And it's free to enter!
