Xiang Xiang is a female giant panda born through natural mating at Ueno Zoo on June 12, 2017. Her father is Lili and her mother is Xin Xin. She was returned to China on February 21, 2023, at the age of 5.

Xiang Xiang lives at the Bifengxia Giant Panda Conservation and Research Center in Ya'an, Sichuan Province. This natural environment allows pandas to live freely. It is located 18 kilometers from Ya'an City and 150 kilometers from Chengdu.
