Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Ratchaworawihan is a second-class royal temple, a type of Ratchaworawihan, located in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. The temple is about 689 meters above the plain of Chiang Mai and 1,046 meters above mean sea level. It is one of the most important temples in Chiang Mai Province. The pagoda courtyard is a viewpoint of Chiang Mai city. The way up is a seven-headed naga staircase made of cement. The current abbot is Phra Thammasenabodi (Thongchai Suwannasiri).
