Wat Phalat (Sakidagami)

#VisitChiangMai Wat Pha Lat (Sakidagami), a temple located in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, is considered halfway up to worship Phra That Doi Suthep. Wat Pha Lat is an ancient temple over 500 years old. The architecture inside the temple is a combination of Lanna and Burmese art. The atmosphere is shady, lush, and very peaceful. At the entrance to the temple, there is also the Phra Borommathat Phra Phutthabat Siwichai Phoka shrine, which enshrines the Phra Phuttha Metta Pha Lat Buddha image, built to commemorate the construction of the road up Doi Suthep. Wat Pha Lat is a place for meditation, attracting both Thai and foreign devotees to practice meditation and mindfulness. Inside the temple, there are many stucco and casting works. A waterway flows through the temple grounds, creating humidity, coolness, and a pleasing green color. The chedi inside the temple is in Burmese art. The viharn was built during the time when Kruba Sriwichai built the road up Doi Suthep. There is a sacred well. Wat Pha Lat is a very peaceful temple with a variety of architecture to admire. It's a temple worth visiting at least once. #ThailandTravel #TempleVisit #BeautifulTemplesChiangMai
