Ibis Styles Chiang Mai, a pleasant surprise at an affordable price

This time I came to Chiang Mai and chose to stay at the Ibis Styles Chiang Mai. The location is really good👍. The hotel is right next to the Pukangma intersection and is very easy to find. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to Chiang Mai University and 20 minutes to drive to Chiang Mai International Airport and Railway Station. It is very convenient to go anywhere.

The hotel looks new and the decoration is very modern. The front desk is small but simple and comfortable😌, and every employee is super enthusiastic. Check-in was very smooth. I checked in online in advance and just checked in with my card. I would like to thank the hotel for arranging a corner room on the street for me. Although it was a bit noisy, the room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities including a microwave and a refrigerator. All the small details were very thoughtful.

The room feels very cozy, with wooden floors, colorful brick walls, and floor-to-ceiling windows, which let in a lot of light☀️. The bedding is also very comfortable. I slept very well these two nights. The only downside is that the internet connection is not very stable and it occasionally disconnects, making phone calls a bit of a hassle. However, the breakfast was very rich, with a variety of local specialties, and it was very satisfying.

There is a small vegetable market next to the hotel where you can buy fresh fruits, which is really convenient🍍. It is a 15-minute walk to MAYA shopping mall, and there are many restaurants and cafes around. This time we also went to the Mellow Ship jazz bar, the atmosphere was really great 🎷.

Of course, the hotel also has some minor shortcomings. The rooms are well maintained but some areas could use a little more attention to cleaning. Also, the swimming pool is a bit small and not very clean 😓. For those who are sensitive to noise, it is recommended to choose a room closer to the inside.

Overall, Ibis Styles Chiang Mai is really great value for money, with a great location and great service. I had a great time in Chiang Mai these few days. Next time I come to Chiang Mai, I will choose here again🌟.
