Xima River Park is located in eastern Sicheng, 1 kilometer from the city center. Behind it, Simao pines stand tall and lush, while in front, Pu'er tea plantations stretch across the hills. Nestled between mountains and water, it offers a beautiful environment and convenient transportation, making it a popular destination for recreation and relaxation.
Legend has it that during the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang led his army southward and washed his warhorses in the river, hence the name Xima River. Nestled against the mountains and adjacent to the city, the park features a seated statue of Zhuge Liang and several clay sculptures of his warhorses. Built in 1985, Xima River Park covers 543 mu (approximately 1,000 acres) along the reservoir's banks, with a water surface area of 600 mu (approximately 1,000 acres). The park boasts a comprehensive range of amenities, including a Chinese restaurant, teahouse, grocery store, cold drink shop, ice rink, swimming pool, and a root art exhibition hall, among other recreational venues.
The low-latitude plateau has a subtropical monsoon climate; Xima River Park is a beautiful scenic area developed with the Xima River Reservoir as its core, suitable for travel in all seasons.
