Chiang Mai Trip | Stay in the same Thai hotel with a movie feel as "The Disciple"

|Stay at the same cinematic Thai hotel as The Disciples. “Anantara” means “endless” in Sanskrit, and this hotel, situated on Changkang Road and sits on the Ping River, perfectly interprets the spiritual core of Chiang Mai. It has always been in the top three of my Chiang Mai hotel list.

❶ Designer Mystery Anxiety
Designed by Kerry Hill, the royal designer of Anhe, it blends colonial-style architecture with Lanna culture. Four-story bamboo exterior, plus the greenery that climbs the century-old teak corridor. 🎬 "The Disciples" same model river view suite, push the door is the private courtyard, the atmosphere is full.

❷ The 1921 restaurant that travels through time and space
Formerly the British Consulate in 1913! Does the brass ceiling fan, teak bookshelf and confidential document style menu ever feel like shooting a spy video?

❸ Healing system riverside time
In the morning, wait for the double rainbow at the infinity pool, eat brunch by the Ping River after exercise, read a book on the riverside bench in the afternoon, book a private spa for extravagance, and watch the twilight dye the river red at the rooftop observation deck at dusk. The process is perfect to the point of breaking the rules🙈.

❹ Surrounding City Walk on Chang Kong Road
Next to the hotel is a small French League villa, a French courtyard library with a sense of history, a Japanese courtyard for a taste of Kyoto matcha, stylish designer shops and Chiang Mai’s most indispensable independent coffee shop.

🍃 Tips
✅ River View Suite Choose the 3-4th floor, push the window is the flowing river life picture scroll.
✅ It is recommended to go to Kasara Lounge, the executive lounge, to brew a pot of English red tea with a BODUM tea set, with a three-tiered dessert.
✅ The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the night market, it is recommended to walk along the river at dusk, you can cross the bridge to walk to the other side, the density of coffee shops is extremely high.
✅ Book hotel activities in advance, such as learning to make Thai cuisine, watching traditional dance performances, parent-child lessons and more.
