If you're coming to Chiang Mai, you have to experience this place at least once! ✨ This hotel is right in the heart of Chiang Mai city, and it's a classic Kerry Hill design – plus, it used to be the old British Consulate in Chiang Mai! 🇬🇧

If you've ever seen the movie "Protégé," then this spot will look super familiar to you! Even after all these years, it still has that same special feeling and stunning scenery. 😍

We stayed here for our entire four-day, three-night trip to Chiang Mai, and honestly, the service was fantastic! The location is also incredibly convenient; getting anywhere was a breeze. 🛵

We splurged on one of their River View Suites this time – there are only three of them in the whole hotel! However, I actually don't recommend booking it during the rainy season. 🌧️ The rainwater washes mud from the mountains into the river, making the whole thing look a bit murky and yellow. Not the prettiest view, I'm afraid! 😬 I think the Garden View rooms are actually just as lovely, if not better, during that time. 🌳🌿
