Sun Rays Cafe Chiang Mai - A Breakfast & Brunch Spot

If you're visiting Chiang Mai and getting tired of eating Northern Thai food every day, we recommend Sun Rays Cafe, a popular breakfast spot among foreigners.

This cafe offers authentic breakfast dishes with Western-style menus such as croissants, waffles, French toast, ABF (American Breakfast), and Happy Bowls. The dishes are beautifully presented, making them perfect for photos. The vibrant colors of the food are so appealing that even those who don't usually enjoy fruits will find themselves craving them.

It's not just about the looks here—the taste is equally impressive. The ingredients are fresh, especially the fruits, which are plentiful, crisp, and naturally sweet.

The drinks are refreshing too, with options like sparkling beverages and excellent coffee. The whipped cream is top-notch. Recommended drinks include Soft Latte, Dirty, and Honeycomb Cold Brew.

We suggest coming with a group since the portions are large and worth the price. The food is light, so you can easily continue your food journey at other places afterward.

Although the cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating, there are limited tables, and it's usually crowded throughout the day. We waited about 30 minutes for a table.
