Chiang Mai Cafes Collection

Among all the Khao Soi restaurants in Chiang Mai, there is one that I would like to call “the best Khao Soi in my life”, which is Khao Soi Lung Prakit Kad Kom, an old shop hidden in a small alley not far from Wualai Road. Although the shop front looks simple, the fragrant aroma of curry paste is truly inviting.
Today, we ordered 2 dishes: Khao Soi Nuea (60 baht) and Khao Soi Moo (50 baht) — both bowls are perfection without needing to add any more seasoning.
The soup is rich, the aroma of curry paste is deep but not too strong, perfectly balanced. The Khao Soi noodles are chewy and soft, served with crispy noodles on top that are fried just right, crispy but not too hard to the point of hurting your mouth. The stewed beef is very soft, easy to chew, and has no unpleasant smell. The Khao Soi Moo is soft and melts in your mouth, with the aroma of curry paste absorbed into every bite.
Most importantly, all the flavors are very “balanced”, salty, oily, fragrant, and a little sweet, just right, without needing to add any more seasoning.
To be honest…this is the most delicious Khao Soi I have ever eaten.
And this is probably the restaurant we will always think of when we want to eat Khao Soi again.
📍 Location: Khao Soi Lung Prakit Kad Kom 53, Suriyawong 5 Road, Hai Ya Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai 50100
🕘 Opening hours: 09:30 – 16:00
💡 Recommendation: Come before noon because there are a lot of people and the food may sell out quickly!
