Walking Through Wat Phra That Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai

We spent a quiet morning at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a beautiful temple on a hill just outside Chiang Mai. The golden stupa stood tall and bright, and the views over the city were amazing.
To get there, we climbed a long staircase lined with dragon statues, though there’s also a tram if you prefer. At the top, the breeze was cool and the whole place felt calm and peaceful.
We walked around the chedi, lit incense and watched locals in prayer. It was a simple and meaningful visit perfect if you want a mix of nature, views and culture while in Chiang Mai.
