We drove past a large house in the Chiang Mai moat that day. We hadn't intended to stop,
but when we saw the storefront, a warm-colored stone wall and a perfect smattering of greenery, we couldn't help but stop.
We entered and it was a different world – quiet, cool, and pleasant to the eye, and fragrant… so fragrant that you could tell the croissants were baking.

This is KRISP Café – a cafe that's not large, but everything is meticulous.
Every pastry isn't just delicious, it's like it came from someone who truly loves it.
The croissant dough is incredibly thin, yet soft on the inside. The butter is real butter, not just flavored oil.
We had a Strawberry Danish that had the tangy, fresh flavor of real fruit, not jam.

The flat white here is smooth and creamy, nothing fancy. But it's so good that you don't even need to add anything.
Dirty is served simply, unadorned, but the aroma is so fragrant you won't want to rush to finish it.

If coffee isn't your thing, they also have tea, yuzu lemon, or a small, thoughtfully crafted mocktail.
Everything seems ordinary, but nothing is done so casually.
