Yudong Gorge is located in Dongfeng Town, Wudang District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. The mountains in the scenic area are undulating and steep cliffs stand tall, forming a unique karst cliff and canyon landscape. The Nanming River, Yuliang River and Yudong River intersect with each other, and it is known as the " Ten-Li River Bay " .
The scenic area is based on the two scenic spots of Yixian Pavilion and Yudong Gorge. The upper reaches of Yudong Gorge are an underground river cave and an artificial lake. On both sides of the lake are canyons 200-235 meters high , with steep cliffs and narrow river valleys, forming a " marginal connection between sky and water ."
Downstream, five embankments have been built in the clear Yudong River , forming a 10,000- square-meter swimming pool and four boating areas, integrating diving, swimming, boating, water slides and other entertainment and fitness functions.
The four seasons are suitable, with no severe cold in winter and no scorching heat in summer.
