Thapae Gate, Chiang Mai

Tha Phae Gate, formerly known as Chiang Rueak Gate, is the eastern gate and one of the five inner city gates of Wiang Chiang Mai. It is currently the only city gate with a door panel.

Tha Phae Gate is one of the important landmarks of Chiang Mai, and it is believed that both Thai and foreign tourists will come to check in here. They like to take pictures with the ancient wall made of orange bricks and flocks of pigeons.

When we went to take pictures with the wall and flocks of pigeons, there were women and men nearby who gave advice on taking pictures and helped chase the birds away so that the birds could fly and get beautiful pictures.
