Intercontinental Chiang Mai

I remember that during my last trip to Chiang Mai, we didn’t get to fully review the luxurious Intercontinental hotel we stayed at. Let me share that we stayed in a suite, upgraded using points from a membership card. Luckily, my friend had more points than I did, so we used their points for the upgrade. Did you know that with this upgrade, we also got access to the evening dining privileges? I’ll review that separately later, but for now, let me share the atmosphere of the suite with everyone.
The hotel is located in the heart of Chiang Mai, very close to major tourist attractions. No need to worry about transportation, as the hotel provides shuttle services to various spots. It’s all-inclusive with a hotel of this caliber. The suite is incredibly spacious, over 100 square meters—it’s so large that my friend and I felt it was almost too big for just the two of us. Of course, the price of the suite is quite high, but the space and amenities provided are far superior to a standard room.
What I loved most were the in-room amenities. The hairdryer was of high quality and quite expensive. Another favorite was the spacious bathroom, which included a jacuzzi tub—much larger than the bathrooms in the regular rooms we’ve stayed in before. The hotel also offers complimentary refreshments throughout the day. If you run out, you can request more from the hotel at no extra charge. It’s free all day, which is a great value.
