Chiang Mai Forest-Themed Restaurant: Savoring Northern Thai Flavors Under a Century-Old Bodhi Tree

During my trip to Chiang Mai, I discovered a magical restaurant that feels like stepping into Alice in Wonderland! Tucked away in a lush tropical garden, the centerpiece of this restaurant is a massive century-old Bodhi tree, with a trunk so wide it takes several people to encircle it. Dining tables are set under its shade, where sunlight filters through the leaves, creating a dappled light effect.

We ordered the signature Northern Thai curry noodles, which featured a rich and flavorful broth, springy noodles, and crispy fried noodles on top for added texture. The green papaya salad was tangy and refreshing, while the sticky rice, served in a bamboo basket, had a natural sweetness. Surrounded by the sounds of chirping birds and a gentle breeze, dining in such an enchanting setting made the food taste even more magical.
