
The Red Army Long March Kedu Memorial Hall is located in Dangui Village, Kedu Town, Xundian Hui and Yi Autonomous County, north of Kunming City. It is 72 kilometers from the county seat and 85 kilometers from Kunming City. The hall was built to commemorate the Red Army's Long March.
The Kedu Red Army Long March Memorial Hall primarily houses the former headquarters of the Central Red Army during the Long March, the General Staff's operations room, and relics of martyrs. The hall utilizes multimedia audio and video to authentically recreate the events of the Long March through film and video, and displays artifacts used by the Red Army, such as horse lanterns and straw sandals.
