The Huaidong Tao Statue is located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on the northwest bank of the Huaidong Tao Reservoir, about 15 kilometers from the city.
The theme of the public office is animal sculptures. Different from ordinary stone or wood sculptures, all the sculptures here are made of straw. The most eye-catching ones are the King Kong family, as well as elephants, deer and other animals.
The King Kong family consists of three gorillas, including: the 8-meter-tall father Jock Rapp on the left, the 6-meter-tall mother Guan on the right, and the 4-meter-tall son Ram Page in the middle.
In order to allow tourists to take photos, each King Kong statue has a ladder. Tourists can use these ladders to walk to the King Kong's mouth, as if they are about to become its meal.
