Mae Kha Canal is located in Chiang Mai, on Chang Klan Road, which is quite convenient to travel from the city. To get to Mae Kha Canal, if you travel by private car, you can park your car in the parking lot before the Mae Kha Canal Bridge. The area is quite large and can accommodate a lot of cars. The service fee is 40 baht per car. Then walk a few steps to Mae Kha Canal. For those who do not use a private car, you can take a red car to get off here. The price depends on the distance from where you get on.
Souvenirs sold at many shops include bags and hill tribe clothing. I was a little surprised because at first I thought it must be a shop selling chic stuff. But because most of the villagers living in the community are Akha, Lahu, and Chinese-Hor tribes who have been here for a long time and have passed it down to their descendants, they have brought their own way of life, including their clothing culture, to sell at inexpensive prices.
In addition to souvenir shops, there are also beverage shops, coffee shops, and snack shops, most of which are decorated in Japanese style. Almost all of them are decorated cutely and in a theme that does not stray from the theme.
