Music Avenue

Ge Tian Music Avenue is China's first "singing highway." Built using cutting-edge international technology, this musical avenue is currently one of only three countries in the world to boast such a route: Japan, South Korea, and China. It incorporates physics, acoustics, and music. When vehicles pass along the avenue at a constant speed of 50 to 55 miles per hour, the sound of air impact created by tires hitting the road's cracks, as well as the micro-vibrations caused by tires passing through the grooves, combine to create a rhythmic sound of varying pitches and rhythms.
