#VisitChiangRai Hong Luang Saeng Kaew is a local museum born from the faith in Buddhism of Ms. Amara Munikanont, built as a gift to Wat Phra Kaew. It is a place to store and display antiques, art objects of the temple, and is a place to learn about religion and Lanna culture. The museum began construction in 1995 and was completed in 2001. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening on February 13, 2007.
