🤩 If you go to Chiang Rai, don't miss Wat Rong Khun 🥰

🤍 If this is your first time in Chiang Rai, a famous place you absolutely must visit is Wat Rong Khun. 🤍

🤩 "Wat Rong Khun" is a renowned temple located in Pa O Don Chai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province. It's a major tourist attraction that seamlessly blends contemporary Thai art and Buddhism. Designed and built by Chalermchai Kositpipat, the temple stands out with its white chapel adorned with sparkling glass, symbolizing the purity and wisdom of the Buddha.

🥰 At the entrance, there's a bridge symbolizing the crossing from samsara to Buddhahood. Inside, the chapel features murals that seamlessly blend the life of the Buddha and contemporary culture. This temple boasts stunning architecture.

🕰️ Opening Hours: Daily, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

💰 Admission: Free for Thais, 50 baht for foreigners

❤️ The temple grounds are quite spacious, so it takes quite a while to walk around. We spent almost two hours there, as the temple's architecture is stunning. Every angle is photogenic. It's a must-see, not just for its architecture. But it's still deeply rooted in Buddhism.

‼️ Don't forget to bring a fan, hat, and sunglasses, because Thailand's weather is incredibly hot.
