Thailand's Chiang Rai Hotspot—The White Temple

The White Temple is located in Chiang Rai, northern Thailand. The drive from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai takes about three hours, which is quite far. Up close, the White Temple is truly spectacular, with intricate and beautiful architecture. The most unique feature is the restroom, which is an entire golden building! According to the tour guide, the White Temple is not used for worshiping deities; it is more of an artistic temple. However, if you want to enter the temple's interior, you still need to remove your shoes.

Exploring the entire complex takes about an hour and a half. The area also features many scenic spots that are perfect for photography. There are also small food stalls nearby. Since the drive is long, it’s recommended to book a day tour to visit multiple attractions and make the most of your time.

Plan a trip to Chiang Mai during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday!
