August is the perfect time to enjoy the sea, and the Junjie Rest Area on the East Coast is one of the ideal spots for it. Located on Highway 11 at the southern end of Donghe Township, this rest area offers pavilions, tables, chairs, walkways, and parking spaces. It provides a convenient and safe place for travelers or local residents to stop by, take photos, and relax while enjoying the stunning coastal views. These seaside rest areas are also hidden gems for appreciating breathtaking scenery.

Follow the concrete walkway to reach two sea-view pavilions. From here, you can look north to see the iconic red light of Xinlan Fishing Port and the distinctive coastal landforms to the north. On clear days, you can gaze out to sea and see Green Island vividly in the distance. Sitting in the pavilion, feeling the sea breeze, and taking in the beautiful views will surely chase away the summer heat!
