The Blue Temple of Lanna: Wat Rong Suea Ten

Wat Rong Suea Ten, also known as the "Blue Temple," is uniquely designed with Thai contemporary art by local artist "Salanok," a student of Ajarn Chalermchai Kositpipat. The blue-sky tones contrast with the gold patterns on the temple walls, creating a sense of tranquility and unique beauty. At the back of the ubosot (ordination hall) is a large Buddha image in the attitude of subduing relatives, and a 20-meter-high five-image Chedi Kesa Kaew Chulamani, enshrining the Buddha's relics.

Highlights:
- The blue-sky-gold sanctuary reflects contemporary art.
- The delicate Naga staircase sculptures are in harmony with the truth.
- Chedi Kesa Kaew Chulamani, a hall of worship for faith.
