2-Day 1-Night Ultimate Xiangyang Travel Guide (Time-Saving Version)

9:40-11:10 Take train from Hankou Station to Xiangyang East Station
20-minute taxi ride from Xiangyang East to hotel [We stayed at Yishang Hotel (formerly Yishang Hotel) - excellent quality, spacious rooms, and great value]
Check-in around 12pm and settle luggage🧳. Right next to the hotel is a locally-owned Xiangyang beef noodle shop with authentic flavors.

🌈 Xiangyang has numerous attractions, many clustered together. With good planning, you can visit most while saving time. Follow this foolproof itinerary to avoid detours.

Day 1
First Stop: Drum Tower ➡️ North Street ➡️ Ancient City Wall ➡️ Lady's City ➡️ Zhaoming Terrace ➡️ Guanjia Lane
20-minute taxi from hotel to📍Drum Tower [Free] - a shopping center. Walk further to:
📍North Street Snack Alley [Free] - come hungry! Explore while eating. At the end is the free-to-enter ancient city wall featuring Lady's City and Zhaoming Terrace - quick photo ops. Descend to📍Guanjia Lane [Free] for more snacks and Hanfu rental shops. Entire area can be covered in 2 hours✅

Second Stop: 603 Cultural Creative Park ➡️ Xijia Pond ➡️ Tangcheng
After downtown sights, venture further:
📍603 Cultural Creative Park [Free] - 30min by e-bike. Famous as "Hi, Mom" filming location but overhyped - nice photos though.
📍Xijia Pond [Free] - 10min taxi. Highly recommended👍 A natural oxygen bar locals love, hailed as China's premier suburban garden.
📍Tangcheng [Ticket🎫128/person] - Arrive around 3-4pm to enjoy both day/night views. Worth every penny - perfect for Hanfu photos amid authentic Tang Dynasty architecture. Free performances scheduled (check their official account). Leave by 9-10pm, take bus to📍Fenghua Road Night Market before returning to hotel. Perfect day👏
