Wat Rong Suea Ten

.. Located on Mae Kok Road, Rim Kok Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai Province, along the Kok River.

.. According to the stories of the elders, in the past, there were not many houses in this area, but there were many wild animals, especially tigers. Villagers who passed by that area often saw tigers jumping across the canal, so they called this area Rong Suea Ten. The villagers renovated the abandoned temple, so they named the temple "Wat Rong Suea Ten".

.. In 2005, a new temple was built and various buildings were renovated, focusing on blue and gold tones, and it was completed in 2016. Since then, villagers and tourists have popularly called it Wat Fa or Blue Temple.

.. Open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
