Wat Chedi Luang, Chiang Saen

#VisitChiangRai Wat Chedi Luang or Wat Phra That Chedi Luang is an ancient temple over 728 years old in Chiang Saen District, Chiang Rai Province. The largest Lanna bell-shaped Chedi Luang in Chiang Saen District is 88 meters high and 24 meters wide at the base. A chapel was built to cover the ancient temple that had collapsed over time to minimize damage and keep it in its original condition for as long as possible. Inside the chapel, there is a Buddha statue on a raised base with Luang Pho Chiang Saen Singh 1 enshrined as the principal statue. Open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
