Okura Chiba Hotel Standard Twin Room

We stayed at the Okura Chiba Hotel near Chibaminato Station to visit the Starbucks Reserve near Chiba Station the next day. We chose this hotel reminiscing about the breakfast we had at Okura Kobe last November!

The hotel is about a 6-minute walk from Chibaminato Station on the Keiyo Line and Chiba Monorail. We checked in around 11:30 AM. The views are divided into partial ocean views and train views, and we were given a train view.

Since the hotel is adjacent to a residential area, it is very quiet. The building is quite large and grand, but it gives off a somewhat desolate and aged impression in places. We fell asleep soon after.

The beds in the standard twin room are only 90 cm wide, making them quite narrow. We had to sleep in a straight posture. Turning even half a turn could result in falling off, so caution is advised.

The train view includes the Chiba Monorail, which runs upside down, and the JR Keiyo Line passing by frequently. The location is about 40 minutes to Disneyland and 50 minutes to Narita Airport.

Breakfast is priced at 2,200 yen, which is nearly 40% cheaper than in Kobe. As expected, there was no signature French toast, and the breakfast was quite ordinary. Thank you.
