A mountain trip to clear your mind at Mitsumine Shrine, surrounded by a sea of clouds and mysteries

Mitsumine Shrine, located deep in the mountains of Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture, at an altitude of about 1,100m, is a mysterious shrine known as one of the Kanto region's leading power spots.

I visited early in the morning. After passing through the mountain path, I arrived at the shrine grounds, which were shrouded in mist and filled with silence and solemnity, as if I had wandered into another world.

When you stand in front of the worship hall, the air is tense and you naturally feel your back straighten. If you're lucky, you can see a spectacular view of the sea of clouds.

It's free to visit, and the attraction is that it's an experience that resets both your body and mind.
It's recommended to take time to quietly face yourself on a solo trip, or to share an extraordinary experience with your partner.
This trip was a "mountain retreat" that got me away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and cleared my mind.

Access

- Train: Take the Seibu Railway from Ikebukuro Station to Seibu-Chichibu Station (about 1 hour 20 minutes)

→ Take the Seibu Sightseeing Bus from Seibu-Chichibu Station for about 75 minutes

- Car: Take National Route 140 from Hanazono IC on the Kanetsu Expressway for about 2 hours

- Parking: Chichibu Municipal Mitake Parking (520 yen for regular cars, 8:00-18:00)
