The designs I encountered during my trip to China left an unexpectedly deep impression. First, the Chinese character '无锡' carved on the wall of the Wuxi Hyesan Ancient Town. The combination of red Chinese characters on the clean white wall is both antique and impressive.
Second, the metal letters displayed in the hotel. The three-dimensional shape and the unique luster of the metal create a modern atmosphere.
Third, the eaves of the roof show the beauty of traditional architecture. The harmony of curves and decorations gives a delicate yet solid feeling.
Fourth, the building is a modern reinterpretation of the traditional architectural style of Chengdu Taikoo-ri. It is a space where antique tile roofs and stylish shops are in harmony.
I could see the harmonious coexistence of tradition and modernity in Chinese design everywhere. Wherever I went, every corner of the city was an exhibition hall in itself. It is one of the reasons I look forward to traveling to China.
